Sawamani

A Sawamani is a sacred vow-offering of prasad. Traditionally it is sawa-mann (about 50 kg) of sweets such as churma, laddu or peda, presented to the deity in gratitude for a wish fulfilled or a blessing sought. We prepare it in a pure kitchen, offer it at the temple of your choice with full ritual, and then distribute the blessed prasad to devotees, so your offering nourishes many.

Gau-Sawamani carries your Sawamani vow to the sacred cow, revered as Gaumata in our tradition. In your name, we provide a full Sawamani of nourishing feed (green fodder, grains and jaggery) to cows at a gaushala, and perform gau-puja on your behalf. It is one of the most auspicious forms of daan, blessing your family with health, prosperity and peace.

Sahastraghat Jal Abhishek

Sahastraghat Jal Abhishek is the ancient rite of bathing the deity with a thousand streams of holy water. The name comes from sahastra, meaning thousand, and ghat, meaning vessel or stream. The water is often drawn from sacred rivers and offered to the chant of Vedic mantras. Regarded as deeply purifying, it is sought for removing obstacles, fulfilling long-held prayers and inviting divine grace upon the whole family.
